Shipping Policy

Collections:

  • Customers can choose to collect products from our Showroom in Riverside, Nelspruit (Mbombela).
  • No collections will take place before payment for merchandise is made in full and cleared by our bank
  • The person collecting the merchandise must produce an original order confirmation, as well as the original proof of payment (receipt), for the merchandise to be released. Upon release of the merchandise, if no damage is recorded on the collection document, this document will serve as proof that the merchandise was received in good order and condition.
  • Furnitrax (Pty) Ltd cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred, including during third-party transportation arranged by the customer.  Collection of furniture is undertaken at the customer’s own risk. 
  • For collections, clients are responsible for providing any additional protective materials required for furniture items during transportation on trailers or vehicles.  
  • Customers are responsible for arranging assistance for furniture collection. Please note that The Comfort Company team may not always have adequate staff available to assist with loading.
  • No collections on weekends and public holidays.
  • A storage fee will be incurred for delayed collections after 21 days of the notification that merchandise are ready for collection.

Deliveries:

  • The Comfort Company reserves the right to levy a delivery fee for all transportation of goods.
  • No deliveries will take place before payment for merchandise is made in full and cleared by our bank.
  • Please note that we currently deliver only to designated areas in South Africa.  If your delivery address is outside these areas, your order cannot be processed and we will be in contact to discuss alternative options.
  • Deliveries will only be made to locations where merchandise can be accommodated in lifts, staircases, or through doors. No hoisting of merchandise will be undertaken.
  • Free delivery on ONLINE products only if the order exceeds R5,000.00
  • Local deliveries within a radius of 180km from our Showroom in Riverside, Nelspruit (Mbombela) will be done by The Comfort Company delivery team during office hours on working days. Assembly and installation of products is included in this case.
  • All other deliveries will be done by third party couriers and assembly and installation (if necessary) will be the responsibility of the customer.  The Comfort Company do not accept responsibility for damaged products due to incorrect assembly by the customer. 
  • A signed proof of delivery by the customer, or a representative, without annotations, is proof that you have received the merchandise in good order and condition. If there is any damage to the merchandise, this must be recorded on the proof of delivery upon delivery and reported to The Comfort Company within 24 hours.

Lead Times:

  • Delivery of ONLINE products may take between 7 (seven) to 28 (twenty eight) days, should the purchased products be in stock.
  • The majority  of our products are made to order.  Lead times for these items are normally 6-8 weeks, and will be confirmed upon order confirmation, provided that these lead times are not affected by any public holidays, strikes, mass actions or natural disasters.  Please refer to Section 5 of our Terms & Conditions for lead times of specific products should the products not be in stock.
  • The Comfort Company will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver the merchandise on the date and time as agreed upon finalisation of the order, however, due to circumstances beyond our control there may be unexpected changes to the agreed delivery date and time, which will be communicated promptly.
